He pursued MBBS from Government Medical College Calicut and completed his M.D at the department of Paediatrics, Advanced Paediatric Centre (APC), PGIMER, Chandigarh. He achieved an All-India Rank 1 in the entrance examination and subsequently completed his Doctor of Medicine (DM) in Paediatric Gastroenterology & Hepatology at the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education & Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh.
